ASHLEY MCBRYDE AT THE TENNESSEE THEATRE

Ashley McBryde, raised in Saddle, Arkansas, is currently taking the country music industry by storm. In 2021, she was nominated for three CMA awards: Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Song of the Year. On February 11, 2022, she played at the Tennessee Theater during a stop on her “This Town Talks” tour.

At 8:00 PM, rising country artist, Ashland Craft, opened the show. She did an incredible job hyping the crowd up, opening with her original songs “Travelin’ Kind,” “Your Momma Still Does,” and “Make it Past Georgia.” Her southern twang and traditional country grit did the perfect job of setting the mood for Ashley McBryde to join the stage.

At 9:00 PM, Ashley McBryde and her band joined the stage and started off with an amazing performance of her original song, “Martha Divine.” To say McBryde is a great performer would be an understatement. The audience was on their feet the whole time, and she did a phenomenal job of keeping the crowd drawn in at all times. She sang original songs such as “Hang in there Girl,” “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega,” and “Voodoo Doll.”

Halfway through the show, McBryde invited Ashland Craft back onstage to sing a beautiful rendition of her song “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” (originally recorded with country artist, Carly Pearce). The harmony of their voices together was beautiful and soothing. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room and you could feel the emotion.

What I loved most about watching McBryde perform was the gratitude she showed to not only her fans, but the band as well. She mentioned many times throughout the night how much fun she was having and you could tell. During the show, she gave her guitar pick to a twelve-year-old audience member and reminded all of the younger fans to reach for their dreams. She then closed out the show with her song, “One Night Standards.”

She will be visiting more cities throughout the tour such as Austin, TX, Fort Wayne, IN and even Dublin, Ireland. You can view her remaining dates and purchase tickets and the following link: https://www.ashleymcbryde.com/tour.
