Blake Rose Live at The End – Nashville, TN

It was a rainy Monday afternoon when Blake Rose made a stop in Nashville, TN on The Suddenly Okay tour at The End on April 29th, 2024 with support from Max McNown

Max McNown is a folk singer-songwriter. Max took the stage around 8 P.M. and started playing songs from his debut album, Wandering. McNown introduced himself and interacted well with the audience all throughout his set. Joining him on stage was his guitarist, Ethan Luck. They performed songs such as Worry ‘Bout My Wandering, The Way I Wanna, and A Lot More Free. During his set, he also performed a cover of Noah Kahan’s Stick Season. Max McNown put on a great show and I hope to see him again one day!

Between sets while waiting, everyone in the crowd was dancing along to the pre-show playlist which included songs like One Less Lonely Girl Justin Bieber, Love Story (Taylor’s Version)Taylor Swift, Dial DrunkNoah Kahan, and Steal My GirlOne Direction

Blake Rose is a 26 year old Australian, born in Perth. Rose is a singer-songwriter and producer. He developed a love for music in his early teens and taught himself how to play the guitar. When he got older he moved to Los Angeles, California to help further develop his music career. He released his first single, Hotel Room, in 2018.

Blake Rose took the stage at The End at 9 P.M. He opened up his set with Rollerblades, a song that he released in 2021. Following that, Rose played Don’t Stop the Car and Dizzy. He also played Casanova, Heavy Shit, and Sweet Caledonia just to name a few! Throughout the night, the crowd was singing and moving along to the beat of Blake’s music. After a little while, he asked the crowd if he could play a song unplugged. The crowd was super excited about this. He unplugged his guitar and made his way into the middle of the crowd and started singing Gone. This was such a beautiful moment and I will never forget it. Everyone looked back at Blake in awe as he was singing. Rose closed the night by singing Lost, which is a huge fan favorite! It might have started out as a dreary, rainy day but Blake cured all cases of the Monday blues with his show. His charm and charisma really set the tone for the entire night!

This was my second time being able to see Blake Rose in concert. The first time, he was opening for Ashe. It was an honor to be able to attend his first headline tour and see how much growth he has had as an artist since the first time that I saw him. If you have the chance to see this amazing, talented musician do not miss out! He always puts on a phenomenal show! Be sure to check out the remaining tour dates here
