Motionless In White Celebrate 10 Years of Reincarnate with Two Nights of Apocalypse Fest

Motionless In White put together a two night celebration for the ten year anniversary of their album Reincarnate. Apocalypse Fest took place in Wilkes-Barre, PA, which is just a stone’s throw away from the home town of Motionless In White. Fans lined up early for night one all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. The first night of the Apocalypse Fest featured Likes Moths To Flames, See You Space Cowboy, Silent Planet, and The Devil Wears Prada. Night two featured Dark Divine, Scene Queen, Kublai Khan TX, and Fit for a King. Two nights with some great bands. My coverage will only consist of night one but I would have loved to see Kublai Khan and Fit for a King.

Knowing how important an album Reincarnate is to the legacy of Motionless In White, they made sure to bring out some important guests that played a role in making the album the success it is. The first appearance was made by Silencio vocalist Dessa Poljak who is featured on Reincarnate, “Wasp”. The next guest to come out and perform with the band was someone Motionless In White fans haven’t seen in over seven years. Former Motionless keyboardist Josh Balz joined his old band on stage for a big reunion. The last guest appearance was made by Swedish musician/ producer, Tim Skold. Tim has worked with Motionless In White in the past and has helped the band with developing their sound.

The show was a fun experience that felt like it was a must to attend for hardcore Motionless fans. The spooky looking band from Scranton Pennsylvania, performing on Halloween, to celebrate the album that they didn’t know at the time would be the beginning of big things to come for them. It was so great getting to photograph Motionless In White again as they always provide great stage presence and make it an entertaining shoot. All the openers were also great as well. I was glad I was finally able to see ” See You Space Cowboy and Silent Planet” for the first time.
