Coheed and Cambria- Marymoor Park, Redmond, WA

With supporting acts Mothica and Alkaline Trio, the peaceful tranquility of Marymoor Park was completely discombobulated with Coheed and Cambria‘s Window of the Waking Mind tour!

Our headliner’s set didn’t begin with a Kabuki drop or a cool sniffer- no. It began with the Quintillian Speaker surging forward from the back of the stage as the crowd gently surged forward to meet it! Thunderous drums and pounding riffs permeated the green serenity of Marymoor Park!

The whole band was high energy and the crowd reciprocated beautifully.

Zack (bass) and Josh(Drums) could not stop smiling throughout the set. Why, you ask? Because the Seattle Choir serenading them provided beautiful background vocals (even harmonies) to several songs throughout the show.

Of course Claudio played his double neck behind his head and with his teeth during the encore! The video wall featured vivid and striking images from the story of Vaxis, part of the Armory Wars saga.

Next to last stop on their headlining tour before joining My Chemical Romance (with ALL ticket sales donating to The Center of Reproductive Rights) in Oklahoma City. Being the next to last headlining show, the band shared their appreciation to their fans for over 20 years of making music and performing for their fans. Claudio and Travis thanked the fans, the tour crew, and the venue staff for being so kind to their families and kids.  It was quite obvious to all who worked the show that the whole tour was appreciative to have some room to stretch their legs and play with their littles in the gorgeous flora of Marymoor Park.
