Leanna Firestone brings “The Becoming Unbecoming” tour to Cannery Hall in Nashville, TN

On Friday, August 9th, Leanna Firestone performed at the Cannery Hall in Nashville, TN as part of her “Becoming Unbecoming” tour, with support from Brye.

It was around 8 P.M. when Brye took the stage. During her set, she played Diet Culture, Lemons, and My Body Is My Buddy (which is an unreleased song that features Tessa Violet) just to name some of her setlist! She has such great energy. I think that Brye was the perfect choice to open the show up for this tour. She put on such a great show. I hope to see her perform again one day!

Around 9 P.M., Leanna Firestone took the stage. As soon as she hit the stage, the room filled with excitement and joy! With every song that she sang, all of the fans would sing right along with her. During her set, Firestone played COOL!, Strawberry Mentos, Least Favorite Only Child, You Just Didn’t Like Me That Much, and Tourniquet just to name a few. Before playing each song, she would tell the story behind each one. All of her songs are very personal and tell a story about things that she’s been through and feelings that she’s had to deal with. One of her songs that will forever stand out to me is Least Favorite Only Child. This song is how I discovered Leanna back in 2021 and it will forever pull at my heartstrings. During her set, Leanna brought out a wheel with different song options on it. She asked one of her fans to come up to spin it and whichever song it landed on, she would play. The wheel landed on Casual by Chappel Roan, which Leanna rocked! I think that this is a fun way to spice up each show, because you never know which song that it could possibly land on.

This was my second time being able to see Leanna Firestone. She has such an infectious energy. After performing, she always takes the time to meet and talk with her fans. It is so easy to tell that she is passionate about what she does and how much she appreciates each and every single person that supports her. If you have the chance to see her, do not miss out! Be sure to check out the remaining tour dates here!
