Must start this one off by saying that Zydeco in Birmingham AL is one hell of a venue to experience a great show up close and personal with your favorite bands. ERRA and among other bands had no problem SELLING OUT the 600 capacity 3 level venue for nothing short of an amazing show and killer performances. Zydeco has been around since the late 80s and has maintained an awesome venue for a great music atmosphere and experience over the years.
ERRA sold out their first stop of their headliner tour “Pull from The Ghost” in their hometown of Birmingham Al along with some other very talented bands. Such as Rumors, Alpha Wolf and Invert Animate. I myself hadn’t had the pleasure of hearing of the band Erra until a friend of mine schooled me those tasty jams. Seems these guys have been making some noise in the music scene since 2009 with their music being described as progressive/metalcore with melodic melodies. They have released quite a few albums sine ‘09 with two Ep’s Titled ERRA and Andromeda later along with five more studio albums.
Upon pulling up to the venue I was meet by a winding line of fans, felt like miles to get to the end of. I could tell the anticipation of the crowd was high. I could hear most all the fans talking among their friends saying that ERRA put on a great show and that it was worth the wait. Upon making my way to the door, I noticed that this was a small venue that diffidently giving you a great experience beginning to end.
ERRA played old and new songs off of their many albums even played their most recently released single “Pull From The Ghost.” It was an absolute banger!!! The crowd went crazy hearing this new masterpiece live and I can say I was right there with them headbanging to the beat from beginning to end. ERRA put on one hell of a show for all of their fans old and new. I must say if you want to see a great show with an amazing performance. Look no further because ERRA has got you covered. I highly recommend checking these guys out live the albums do not do them enough justice! You need to hear and feel the music yourself.
