Rising country artist Priscilla Block from Raleigh, North Carolina is currently taking the country music genre by storm. She found her fame by posting her now well-known songs on Tik Tok during the height of the pandemic.
Currently on her “Welcome to the Block Party” tour, Priscilla made a stop in Knoxville, TN at The Open Chord with a SOLD OUT show.
Opening the night was country artist Lauren Weintraub with an energetic, beautiful acoustic performance of her song Makeup is Expensive. She also played acoustic covers of Need You Now by Lady A and Adore You by Harry Styles. She did a wonderful job of getting the crowd ready for Priscilla. She had the room drawn into her from the second she stepped onto the stage.
Then, after Lauren’s set, it was time for Priscilla Block to take the stage.
From the moment Priscilla took the stage, she exceeded all expectations and put on an amazing show. Every person in the room was singing and dancing right along with her. She sang her songs Ever Since You Left, My Bar, and more. At one point in the show she sang an absolutely amazing acoustic cover of Lizzo’s Truth Hurts, and even a mashup of popular country sounds from the year 1995. What I love most about Priscilla and the show she put on, was the message she shared of self love, confidence and beauty. She truly encouraged every person in the room to love themselves. Following the show, she did a meet and greet with her fans. Priscilla is so kind and down to earth. Anyone who loves empowerment and country music should go see Priscilla live. If you want to see Priscilla and her incredible band live, they will finishing out the “Welcome to the Block Party” tour in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.
