Memphis May Fire kicked off their Remade In Misery tour to a sold-out crowd in Charlotte, NC.

The first band to take the stage was Wolves at the Gate. The Christian metal/post hardcore band was formed in 2008, in Ohio. They have released 3 Ep’s, and an impressive 5 studio albums.  The stage presence of the band was impressive. Front man Nick Detty even leaped down into the pit, standing on the barrier and singing directly to the crowd, which fans loved.

Temperatures in the room increased as the crowd began moving and singing along. A sold-out show on a Friday night was exactly where they wanted to be.  The band played an electric 35-minute set to warm up the audience. With the crowd singing and head banging along, temperatures in the room increased, reflecting the excitement. Fans were stoked to be there at the sold-out Friday night show.

The next band to take the stage was Rain City Drive, the rock band from Florida. The band was formed in 2014 under the name Slaves and have released four studio albums under both names. After a quick 20-minute set change, the audience was ready for the music to continue.

Fans both old and new loved what they were hearing, as the energy skyrocketed even further. Rain City Drive played a 35 minute energetic set, before thanking the audience and getting them hyped up for the bands to come.

By the time the third band, From Ashes To New took the stage the crowd was amped up and ready to go. The four-piece band was formed in 2013 and has since seen growth with their 3 studio albums. The crowd only got more excited as the mosh pits and crowd surfing began.

The band is made of just 4 members; drummer Matt Madiro, guitarist Lance Dowdle, clean vocalist Danny Case, and rapper Matt Brandyberry. Their sound, however, remains powerful and had a strong impact on the audience, with several FATN fans in the crowd screaming lyrics at the top of their lungs.

Finally, Memphis May Fire took the stage. The crowd went crazy after the anticipation built up with 3 great opening acts. Launching straight into most recent hit, Blood & Water, the crowd surfing began right off the bat.

Memphis May Fire was formed in Denton, Texas in 2006. To date they have released 6 studio albums and 2 EPs, gaining more and more traction with each one. This tour was presented by SiriusXM Octane, who have been working closely with the band. They helped put together this four-band lineup that the audience loved so much.

Temperatures in the room reached an all-time high, but that did nothing to slow down the crowd. The pits were intense, and head-banging was everywhere as vocalist Matty Mullins delivered every line with power.

After an incredible 14 song setlist, the band thanked everyone and Mullins reflected on how this was one of his favorite shows he’s ever played. Everyone had a great time and the positivity spread through the room throughout the night.
