FLO MILLI’S 2023 ATL S*HO*WCASE

Flo Milli took the stage at the Masquerade on November 9, 2023, wrapping up the “Thanks for Coming Here, Ho” tour with just three shows left. The Atlanta crowd, known for doing things their own way, didn’t hold back, showering her with cheers, singing, and dance moves that amped up the whole vibe. Flo Milli brought a ton of energy, confidence, and style to her performance, making it look easy to own the stage. Whether she was spitting rhymes, putting on a show, or just being effortlessly beautiful, it was a treat to soak up her energy. Broolyn’s Maiya The Don joined the tour, which fans were ecstatic about. They both made sure to give props to the crowd, shouting out their beauty and killer fashion sense. The whole gig felt like a wild, love-filled bash, with flashy visuals and her glitzy outfit cranking up the electric atmosphere. Fans love vibing with her during the show, and she’s not shy about snapping selfies with a bunch of them afterwards.

She started on the stage embodying the character of “Hottie” and presented popular tracks like “Mean,” “Not Friendly,” “We Not Humpin’,” and “Bundles” during her show. Phones lit up with flashlights as videos started playing; she even snatched a fan’s phone mid-performance and recorded a personalized video for them. Flo Milli energetically engaged with every corner of the venue, delivering a performance that felt personal, comfortable, and as if she were with her best friends dancing at a party; every single person was having a good time. The videos and collages of her between the flashing lights were the perfect way to tie in a show stopping performance.

I also had the privilege of attending the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” tour in 2022 and could compare my experience to just a year ago. Two constants were her infectious high energy and her ability to command a crowd. Since the previous year, her stage presence has grown significantly, enhancing the overall show experience. It’s evident that she has evolved as an artist and is fully prepared to conquer the grand stages on this tour. The energy that fills the room during her performances lingers long after the show concludes. She’s the kind of artist who captivates you even more after witnessing her live, and I must admit it’s now a personal goal of mine to attend all her upcoming tours; these shows are not to be missed!

Flo Milli’s road to stardom kicked off when her track “Beef FloMix” blew up on TikTok back in 2019. A rap whiz, she started dropping beats at just 11 and released her first track, “No Hook,” at sweet 16. While she tossed out a mix of projects, it was her lyrics full of positivity and confidence that really grabbed attention. “Beef FloMix” went viral thanks to fans grooving to it in dance videos, racking up millions of streams.

Her other hits, like “In the Party,” “May I,” and “Conceited,” also caught fire. The summer of 2020 brought her album “Ho, Why Is You Here?” under RCA Records & ’94 Sounds, landing a solid spot on the Billboard 200. That move earned her props on Rolling Stone’s “200 Greatest Hip Hop Albums of All Time.” She got a nod for Best New Artist at the BET Hip Hop Awards and dropped “You Still Here, Ho?” in July 2022, showing she’s a true heavyweight in the hip-hop game.

Hitting 16 cities in just under four weeks, the tour is coming to an end. The tour began in San Francisco and is ending in Dallas, Texas. For the remainder of the tour, tickets can be found at
