Blue Ridge Rock Festival Day 2:

Friday found me at the “smaller” stages for the entirety of the day. Starting out at the smallest of them all where the regional bands could be seen, the Heart Support stage. This little guy was located in between the main two and middle two, just up The Hill. Blue Ridge’s effort to put regional bands on a major festival lineup is one of the things that made me because of such a hard-core supporter of the festival in the first place.

Hollow Intent

I had the pleasure of getting to know these Blue Ridge alums over the last year and have photographed them more than once now. They have a Breaking Benjamin feel and a FUN stage presence. The epic head-banging hair flips don’t hurt either.

Fit For An Autopsy

A deathcore delight is the best way I can describe Fit For An Autopsy. You want to go hard? They GO. This set was an extra special treat for me as I got to meet and shoot with our lovely assistant editor!

Bad Omens

In another fan girl moment, seeing Bad Omens live was a goal of mine. I’m already lined up to see them in December but I was NOT missing this chance! The Fan Driven stage was PACKED. The photo pit was PACKED. The vocal capabilities of Noah Sebastian is staggering as he sounds just as great live as recorded.

Stay tuned for part III!
