Fit For An Autopsy Sells Out Baltimore

Deathcore fans packed into Baltimore Soundstage for a Friday night filled with guttural screams, chunky chuggy guitar tones, and heavy mosh pits. The three-week co headling tour featuring Fit For An Autopsy, The Acacia Strain, Full of Hell, and Primitive Man landed in Baltimore, Maryland at the Baltimore Soundstage on 3/31 for the second to last stop on tour.

Primitive Man

Opening for the night was doom metal three-piece from Denver, Colorado, Primitive Man. The ultra-heavy, slow tempo sound coupled with the dark blue lighting made the room literally feel heavy in the best way.

Full of Hell

Next up in the lineup was Full of Hell. The grindcore band comes from areas near and dear to my heart, central Pennsylvania and Maryland. The abrasive, angry sound got the room MOVING. The emotion the vocalist was showing during the performance was amazing. The red color cast by their lighting set the mood perfectly.

The Acacia Strain

The Acacia Strain took the stage next. These guys are the perfect mix of metalcore and deathcore, two of my personal favorites. This set was the perfect assault to my ears keeping in the ultra heavy tone of the night. The crowd was wild at this point, and looking at the shots of the room you can see they agreed.

Fit For An Autopsy

My evening of ear assault ended with the deathcore delight, Fit For An Autopsy as the headliner. They launched into “A Higher Level of Hate” as the packed venue lit up with movement. The mosh pits were going and the crowd surfers were nonstop. They played an 11-song set and left the crowd chanting for an encore after blowing the roof off of Soundstage.
