Silver Spring Rides the Tekkno Train With Electric Callboy

Iconic elecronicore band Electric Callboy announced they were playing select dates in North America, it was an opportunity to experience a party only these guys can put on. Even better, they rolled through Silver Spring, MD.

If Not For Me

The opener for these dates are special. They’re literally from my hometown. If Not For Me from Harrisburg, PA have been absolutely blowing up as of late. This will be the third show I’ve attended of theirs including their album release show last month. Seeing the strides they’re making is nothing short of amazing and we LOVE to see how far they’re going. They’re the metalcore we know and love. Their stage presence is fire and they had the crowd going nuts.

Bury Tomorrow

Direct support for this North American run is Bury Tomorrow. The British metalcore band popped off and so did the mosh pits. After photographing I spent the rest of the set bopping around the pits. It’s two days later and I’m still sore from the chaos. A humble reminder that I am over 30. Worth it.

Electric Callboy

I knew this was going to be a wild ride. But I didn’t realize HOW wild. The energy, banter and the music itself are a combo like nothing I’ve ever witnessed before. The crowd came in force, sold the show out and showed up in their best outfits. The 80’s wardrobes, track suits, and mullet wigs were everywhere.
They played us well with the second encore. Of course they couldn’t do a setlist without We Got The Moves. Complete with mullet wigs.
