Maddie Zahm brings the “Now That I’ve Been Honest” tour to Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN

Maddie Zahm’s Now That I’ve Been Honest tour made a stop in Nashville, TN at The Brooklyn Bowl on May 15th, 2024 with support from Leanna Firestone.

When I found out that Leanna Firestone was opening for Maddie Zahm, I got so excited. I first discovered Leanna when she released Least Favorite Only Child and have been hooked since! Firestone took the stage around 8 P.M. She opened her set with her song Smitten / Vulernarble. During her set, Firestone also played: Least Favorite Only Child, Black Box Warning, Foreverever, You Just Didn’t Like Me That Much, and she also played a cover of Casual (originally by Chappel Roan). Leanna was so interactive with the crowd! During her song COOL! she had the crowd do a call and response. She would sing and the fans would sing the same line back to her. While on stage, she would tell the stories of how her songs came to be. This was my first time being able to see Leanna Firestone, but it definitely won’t be my last.

Maddie Zahm is a 26 year old Boise, Idaho native. She is a singer-songwriter and guitarist. Once Zahm took the stage, she started singing her song Blind Spot, which was then followed by Eightball Girl and Lights On Kind Of Lover. During her set, Maddie brought out a special guest, Hunter Hayes and they performed his song, Wanted. This was such a fun surprise for the fans! Everyone was so excited to see this duo sing together. She also performed Pick Up The Phone, Where Do All The Good Kids Go?, Lady Killer, and Fat Funny Friend. During the encore, she performed two songs: Little Me and You Might Not Like Her. During the last song, Maddie Zahm left the stage to join her fans at the barricade. This created a special moment that I am sure the crowd will never forget. Throughout the night, Zahm created a safe environment. She was able to talk about her music and the inspirations behind them. She has such an amazing stage presence and had the entire crowd pouring their hearts out with each song that she sang.

I have been a fan of Maddie Zahm’s since she was on American Idol. This was my second time being able to see Maddie Zahm in concert and I am so thankful that I was able to see her live again. She always puts on a great show. From the lighting, to the fan interaction, and her amazing vocals! If you have the chance to see her, do not miss out!
