Dragged Under @The Crocodile Seattle

The Homecoming Show you Didn’t Know you Needed!

Sunday night Seattle’s The Crocodile played homecoming host to local punk metal-core favorites, Dragged Under. After three years of touring around the globe, the boys were welcomed back to the Pacific Northwest opening for Bless the Fall’s Hollow Bodies 10th anniversary tour.

Formed in 2019 by lead singer, Anthony Cappocchi, their 2020 debut release, The World Is In Your Way, hit the Top 10 on the US Alternative iTunes chart and 2022’s Upright Animals has been steadily climbing the Spotify charts.

Performing to an almost sold-out crowd their setlist was a combination of new and old hits. The band started off their 30-minute set with “Instability” which instantly got the (almost sold out) crowd jumping up and down. At the end of the song, Cappocchi took a minute to dedicate the evening to their friends, family, and their fans saying “Seattle! We’re from here!

Dragged Under is known for their energetic performances (that have left some mic stands in need of repair) and Sunday night was no exception. Cappocchi took no time in asking the crowd to open up the floor before breaking into “Suffer. Hands and fists pumped into the air as not one, but two circle pits developed on the floor.

While fans moshed to “Brainwash Broadcast” the brotherhood of musicians jumped, kicked and playfully bumped into each other onstage.

Lead guitarist, Sean Rosario, leaned deep over the edge of the stage interacting with fans and touring drummer Dylan Roy fed off the energy, never missing a beat.

The highlight of their performance was the crowd sing-along to “Chelsea”, their biggest hit from 2020.

They say home is where the heart is and the band left more than their heart on the stage. Judging from the sweaty, smiling faces leaving the showroom floor after the band’s set, I would say they agree.

Dragged Under continues their tour with Bless the Fall, Caskets, and Kingdom of Giants stopping in twenty more cities. Stay tuned to Keynote Music Collective for more coverage!
