Ice Nine Kills just released a new music video for couples to die over this Valentines Day. “Take Your Pick” ft. Corpsegrinder comes off their latest album, Welcome To Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2. The band continues to show their love for horror films with this animated piece that stylistically reminds me a lot of the show Total Drama Island. While watching the video I couldn’t help but laugh as I head-banged along.
There are humorous moments as the protagonist’s goes on a murdering spree throughout the coal mine. I accounted for a total of twenty-six fatalities with some help from Corpsegrinder. Overall I really enjoyed the video and thought the animation was a good switch up in artistic direction. You can catch Ice Nine Kills on tour with Black Veil Brides and Motionless In White starting this March through April.
