Shinedown Brings The Revolutions Live Tour To The FedExForum in Memphis, TN On April 21, 2023

On April 21st, Shinedown brought an astounding performance to The FedExForum, with support from From Ashes To New and Three Days Grace.

Three Days Grace is a Canadian rock band that was originally formed in 1992 in Norwood, Ontario. The band consists of Brad Walst, Neil Sanderson, Barry Stock, and Matt Walst.  This band is currently touring with Shinedown. Before Three Days Grace took the stage, the song Jump Around by House of Pain filled the arena. Every fan started jumping and singing. The first song that they played was So Called Life. This song tells the listeners about depression and how they do not want to be in this time, but not wanting to leave because life is a gift. After that, they played Animal I Have Become, Home, and I Hate Everything About You. Before the song Home, Brad Walst asked if it was okay if they moved to Memphis. All of the fans screamed in agreement with this. Three Days Grace is an exciting band to watch perform. Everyone in the audience was singing along to every song that they sang. They were the perfect band to set the stage for Shinedown

Shinedown is an American rock band. It was formed by Brent Smith in 2001. The band members consist of Brent Smith, Barry Kerch, Zach Myers, and Eric Bass. This band has sold more than ten million records worldwide and all of their single releases have reached the top five. Their genres are Hard Rock and Alternative Metal.

With the lights dimmed, the crowd waited in anticipation for Shinedown to appear. The light show and fire display accented their music at just the right moment leaving everyone in awe of what would be next. Their stage setting was amazing! The band opened their set with Diamond Eyes, a song that is about standing up for your cause and putting your fear aside. During their set, they performed I’ll Follow You, with Eric Bass on the piano, which descended to the stage from the sky. They also played State Of My Head, 45, and Second Chance, just to name a few.

Lead singer, Brent Smith, added to the show with his strong vocals and shared stories. Each band member added to this electric combo. Zach Myers, also put on an amazing show in his hometown with his solos and infectious energy. Eric Bass (bassist) and Barry Kerch (drummer) kept the rhythm powerful throughout the whole night. The audience was on board one hundred percent with their dancing and singing! Before Smith started singing a cover of Simple Man (originally by Lynyrd Skynyrd), he introduced the crowd to a very special guest, Jelly Roll! The crowd went wild for this. The crowd joined in and sang every single word with Brent and Jelly Roll.

Shinedown is a band that keeps growing with time. They have music for everyone. Their music is relevant to the times and problems that many people face. The band is very conscious of this. They work with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. For every ticket that they sell on this tour, one dollar goes to AFSP. After telling the fans about this, they sang A Symptom Of Being Human, which is from their latest album Planet Zero. This song tells everyone about forgiveness and accepting each other for both the good times and the bad. Shinedown has both great music and an amazing stage presence!
