Senses Fail Rolls Through Atlanta, Ga

Senses Fail rolled into Atlanta, Ga with two other unforgettable bands Can’t Swim and Magnolia Park. As they are nearing their “Hell Is in Your Head tour”, with only five more shows left kicking back up on December 13 in Austin, Tx you don’t want to miss your chance to see a very memorable experience.

I would also like to say that the venue in Atlanta Terminal West is hell of a venue complete with a restaurant next door and a balcony with 3 bars, leaving you with an awesome place to catch a live show and have a great experience.

The first band to set the tone for the night was a post-punk pop band out of Keansburg, New Jersey called “Can’t Swim” these guys have been at it since 2015 delivering their fans with three studio albums and four Ep’s. Their performance was an experience, with pure energy, fun, and a love for their fans as they continued their set. I recommend giving these guys a listen.

The next band that took the stage was a pop punk/Emo rock band Magnolia Park coming at you from Orlando, FL delivering an energetic performance you won’t forget. This was the first time that I have heard of this band, they delivered great music and performance. I can see myself digging more into their music and seeing what they are about.

Now for the headlining band Senses Fail. I can tell you the house was packed waiting anxiously for these guys. When the lights and music stopped the crowd went nuts ready for what they were about to experience. As they walked out on stage and the music slowly started to fade in greeted by Buddy then the vocals kicked into a very powerful song “The Burial of the Dead”, I can honestly say that was an amazing song to kick off with. The audience along with myself was captivated by the lyrics and music, it was a moving song. As the show went on, it was full of songs old and new. The songs that I was surprised to hear “187” and the smashup with “Rum is for Drinking not for Burning” that was without a doubt a treat to hear. As the show was winding down and they announced their last song “Bite to Break Skin” me being the fan I’ve been for almost 20 years, I had to seize the moment. I set my camera down and jumped into the pit.

In all, the show was a huge hit, with all the bands leaving their fans with more than they bargained for. I highly recommend looking into any of these bands for a great show experience, and some tasty jams to unwind.
