Monday night brought The Bridge City Sinners to The Launchpad in downtown Albuquerque on their March tour, midway through playing 23 cities in 27 days. Support was provided by Lo-Cash Ninjas, The Witch and the Burro, and The Goddamn Gallows. They started the night off right. Each group is incredibly talented with their own original music and style.

Lo-Cash Ninjas hailing from Shiprock New Mexico came out hard and fast, then left it all on the stage. Their sound is authentic and loud. A solid local following showed support for the semi local band.
The Witch and the Burro are a folk/Americana duo composed of Vic Ruggerio and Lauren Napier. Each are accomplished singer-songwriters in their own right. Together the stories, songs and stage presence captivated the Launchpad. The pair finished off their set with a beautiful acoustic number.

The Goddamn Gallows need no introduction in this town. There was an audible shift of energy when these guys took the stage. Fans old and new got the floor boiling with a serious circle pit, with stragglers picked up and tossed back in. The band brought 110% and it showed. The Goddamn Gallows brought the temperature up in the room-both literally and figuratively.

The Bridge City Sinners with their gritty do it yourself attitude, absolutely killed. The anticipation of their set was intensified when the lights were turned low and a deep bellowing tune summoned them to the stage. From new songs to old, the audience sang nearly every word at full volume.
Libby was super engaging and thrilled to be performing for live audiences again. She commented on how shows are for fun and if you don’t want to be bumped by the pit to move aside. She also mentioned how much she loves all ages shows (several kids were on the rail all night). At one point, Libby jumped into the crowd and performed flawlessly from the floor surrounded by adoring fans.
The Bridge City Sinners continue touring in California, Oregon, and Washington through March. Be sure to catch them at one of the upcoming shows.
The Launchpad was the perfect setting for the evening’s performances. Sound and lighting were both top tier, and security ran a tight ship. Hosting local and touring acts, their calendar is always full. Check out the links below.
