A drummer, DJ, and producer from a young age, Jess Jessica’s inspiration for her sound can best be described as eclectic, with musical influences ranging from 70’s funk and psychedelia to the sonic sensibility of world-renowned 21st-century musical pioneer SOPHIE. Originally hailing from the Sunshine State, Jess Jessica’s love of music started at the age of ten when she picked up her first set of drum sticks and began experimenting with music software on the family computer. However, it wasn’t until her gender transition in her twenties, coupled with experiencing the intricate musical scaffolding created by house DJs, that she could realize her full artistic vision. Fans can expect to experience the full scope of Jess Jessica’s artistry with the upcoming release of her album on May 27th but will get a taste of what’s to come with tracks poised to release on May 6th.
